At the end of March, Jacob and I decided to purchase our first home. We had to be moved in and close on a house in the beginning May. That's not a lot of time to pack up our previous home, find a friendly neighborhood, find a nice home, and get everything else situated on top of having finals and graduating from college! Blake was not only extremely patient with us, but he went above and beyond to meet all of our needs (plus more) to find us the perfect home and for our pets and children in an amazing school district. We had a demanding list to look at several homes (around 30) and he had a viewing for all of them in less than 24 hours notice. That's impressive! Once we found our perfect home, Blake helped us get our closing process underway. The house in question has a septic tank which needed to be inspected with the house as well. In order for our closing date to be met on time, Blake spent hours trying to find the location of the septic's access and then dug it up himself to ensure the inspection would not be delayed! He knew how important our closing date meant to us and didn't want our date to get pushed back even the tiniest amount! The closing was a smooth transition, he got us the best deal with closing costs and inspections, he gave us recommendations for daycares, and he even helped us unpack and move into our new home! If anyone is looking for a realtor in Springfield or the surrounding areas, I highly recommend Blake Cantrell. He was once a firefighter in the Nixa area so he knows it extremely well. He was more than personable. The difference is that he treated me like I was a person and not a number measured statistically, or the pipeline to achieving a monetary goal. When your realtor looks you in the eyes, make sure to look back into theirs. If you don’t see a level of personal respect and concern for your well being, you should be concerned about placing your business with them. Your business is your well being. And in today’s dog eat dog business world, you are hard pressed to find Blake’s level of genuine client care and respect. I not only recommend him for your real estate transactions, I would also recommend watching him to benchmark how you should treat customers in your own line of work.
